"Denizli, the Paradise of Archaeology"
Iranian Archaeologist and Sculptor Prof. Dr. Hesam Mohtasham, who emphasized Denizli's status as the paradise of archaeology surrounded by ancient cities, stated, "I have been in Turkey for nine years. I owe Turkey a lot. Seven months ago, I opened my first exhibition at Turan Bahadır's. Doğaç Group became our main sponsor. We opened the exhibition to send the proceeds to earthquake victims. Mr. Sedat saw my works. He said, 'Let these works be exhibited, let people come, visit, see, and have something made for themselves.' We worked extremely hard for this. It's not just me here; it's a team effort. I live in Turkey, and I've had the best years of my life in Turkey. I owe gratitude to this country and its people. It needs to be repaid. Doğaç Group prepared this place for me. We have no material limits, there is no shortage of stone, metal, wood, or materials. These works are not commissioned; they are my own creations. Sometimes, I liked something and made it. Sometimes, I was inspired and created. Among my works, there are human heads and works that tell love stories. Denizli has enormous potential. Denizli is the paradise of archaeology. I have also worked in Hierapolis and Laodicea."
